ASRC Federal Holding Company Technical Editor in Elizabeth City, North Carolina


Arctic Slope Technical Services (ASTS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal Holding Company, is seeking a Technical Editor in anticipation of a favorable award of the upcoming contract supporting the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth, NC.


  • Possess advanced proficiency in applying the rules of writing in the English language, including all the guidelines in the current edition of the Government Printing Office (GPO) Style Manual, USCG Directives, technical writing standards, military specifications, and current procedures used in the development of technical documents.

  • Shall have the ability to learn and apply other writing or formatting rules and guidelines provided by the Government and identify discrepancies in document formats prepared by technical writers or others.

  • This individual shall provide clear and professional feedback about documents prepared by other contractors or Government personnel as well as professionally accept feedback about documents edited.


  • This individual shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience as a technical writer for aviation technical manuals and at least two (2) years experience in editing technical documents
